The oldest building in the city, which is a part of a former Kharkiv fortress, is located on the premises of the monastery. The building is the Pokrovsky Cathedral, an example of a Ukrainian baroque. Visit the place for enjoying the architectural masterpiece and exploring the outstanding beauty of monastery’s interior and exterior. It would be interesting to experience the view on the city from a gallery of the two-storey cathedral, moreover, to taste the delightful bakery of the local monks.
