Monument to Mykhaylo Vorontsov appeared on the main street of the seaside city in 2011. The author of the 5-meter monument M.Mironenko "put" in Vorontsov`s right hand a scroll, probably with the Berdyansk development plan. Nearby is a monument to holidaymakers. Moving in the direction of Prymorska Square, be sure to pay attention to the old cannon of the Crimean War of 1854 - 1856, installed near one of the restaurants on a small pedestal. It was raised from the bottom of the Sea of Azov in the distant 1863. At the Azov Avenue you can even return back to your childhood by sitting on a three-wheeled children's bicycle – monument to "Happy Childhood".
At the entrance to the Prymorsk, a magnificent monument is erected in honor of the second rank captain Mykola Krytskyi, made in the form of a ship. It was Krytskyi, who on behalf of M. Vorontsov led the expedition, which was called upon to explore the northern coast of the Sea of Azov and chose the place most suitable for the construction of the pier. Having examined the nearest water area, Mykola Krytskyi chose to build a port in the Berdyansk Bay.
