Then in the city, about 180 Lutheran Germans lived. Neo-Gothic architecture attracted the gaze of the parishioners to the cross that stood on a high tower. The arched arches and stained-glass windows created a special atmosphere. To the left of the church, the Lutherans built a school. Both buildings have survived to this day, but require restoration. The tower and part of the decor of the Lutheran church were lost during the Soviet era.
