Dnipro Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre named after Taras Shevchenko

Dniprovsky Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after Taras Shevchenko is the first state theater of Ukraine. Founded in 1918 in Kyiv as the first professional theater of Ukraine.

When founded, it was called the State Drama Theater. In the Dnipro the theater is based since 1927.
