The building is located on the right bank of the Zherev River, surrounded by picturesque nature, and is considered an informal local architectural landmark.
The villa belonged to the landowner Liudvik Lvovych Mlodzievsky. At the beginning of the 20th century, the building housed a one-class zemstvo school, opened in 1910, and from 1918 the former landowner’s residence continued to serve an educational purpose. This made the building an important part of the village’s history and local community life.
The villa’s architecture combines features of urban Constructivism with elements of traditional Polissia wooden architecture. The building has survived almost unchanged and stands out for its original facade design. It looks especially picturesque from the river and park side, where visitors can see the three-story section of the building with a decorative turret that gives the villa its distinctive appearance.
The Mlodzievsky Villa is an interesting destination for those interested in architecture, history, and lesser-known landmarks of Polissia. It tells the story of the region’s past, the development of education, and the life of the local nobility at the beginning of the 20th century.
