The former aristocratic residence is one of the city's best-known historic buildings and is closely associated with the influential Polish Krasiński family, which played an important role in the development of Dunaivtsi.
Around 1782, the estate in Dunaivtsi was purchased by Jan Krasiński, a member of the distinguished noble family, who settled here with his wife Antonina Czacka. The palace was later inherited by his descendants, including the father of the renowned Polish poet Zygmunt Krasiński. In the mid-19th century, the estate became the property of the Skybnevskyi family.
The palace was built in the Neoclassical style. It is a two-story rectangular building with a hipped roof, a central columned portico, and a balcony overlooking the main façade. Originally, the residence was surrounded on three sides by a large landscape park, which has unfortunately survived only in fragments.
Throughout its history, the building underwent several reconstructions and partially lost its original architectural appearance, including the balcony and some decorative elements. Today, the former palace houses the city's Palace of Culture and remains one of the most prominent historic landmarks in the center of Dunaivtsi.
Krasinski Palace is an important example of late 18th-century noble architecture in Podillia and serves as a reminder of the city's rich past, preserving the atmosphere of the period when Dunaivtsi was one of the region's cultural and administrative centers.
