The church is located near the historic center and is part of a former educational and religious complex.
The Lutheran community appeared in Dunaivtsi in the first half of the 19th century together with German and Czech settlers, who made a significant contribution to the development of crafts, industry, and education in the town. At the beginning of the 20th century, a large stone church was built for the community, becoming a center of spiritual and cultural life.
The building represents European architectural traditions with elements of Neoclassicism. It features a three-nave composition, large arched windows, decorative pilasters, and an expressive central façade with a round rose window and ornamental details.
After a period of decline during the Soviet era, the church was returned to believers, and today it houses a Christian educational and religious center. The Lutheran Church remains an important monument to the multicultural history of Dunaivtsi and one of the town’s most remarkable architectural landmarks.
