The exhibition is dedicated to the history of the health resort and its founder, zemstvo doctor I. Zubkovskyi, who in 1914 was the first to recognize the healing properties of “Myrhorodska” mineral water.
This happened after, on the initiative of the city administration, an artesian well was drilled in Myrhorod to provide the city with drinking water. The slightly salty water from the source was considered unsuitable for drinking; however, Zubkovskyi sent samples for analysis, and it turned out that in chemical composition and properties the water is similar to the лечебные mineral waters of the springs of Baden-Baden and Aachen.
