The O. Slastion Myrhorod Local History Museum is one of the oldest museums in the Poltava region, founded in 1920 on the initiative of art historian and artist Opanas Slastion.

Today, it is one of the leading research centers for regional local history. The museum’s collections include more than 15,000 exhibits, featuring numismatics, paintings and graphics, embroidery, ceramics, pysanky (decorated eggs), as well as household and ethnographic items.
