The museum introduces visitors to the scientist's life and achievements while showcasing an impressive collection of minerals and rocks from across Ukraine and around the world.
The museum features two exhibitions. The memorial section recreates Volodymyr Bondarchuk's study and displays his personal belongings, writing instruments, scientific publications, books from his personal library, expedition photographs, documents, awards, and mineral specimens from his private collection. The mineralogical exhibition includes around 500 specimens, featuring rocks and minerals from the Zhytomyr region as well as unique samples from the Carpathians, Crimea, the Ural Mountains, Siberia, the Kola Peninsula, the Russian Far East, and even Antarctica.
The museum will appeal to anyone interested in geology, natural sciences, and the history of Ukrainian science. It is also an excellent stop while exploring Denyshi, as nearby attractions include the Transfiguration Monastery of Tryhiria, the ruins of the Tereshchenko Palace, centuries-old giant oak trees, the Denyshi rock-climbing area, and the Blessed Władysław of Gielniów Roman Catholic Church in the village of Korchak.
