The theater began its activity in 1991. Today VIE is called the most avant-garde theater in Zaporizhzhia, which works in the field of theater experiment. The theater hall is small. The genre theme of the performances is diverse (play-parable, quest, tragifars, drama, romantic tale, slam, phantasmagoria, mono-performance, dramatic poem, etc.). The performances are designed for a diverse audience. Performances take place on weekends. The theater-laboratory VIE became a laureate of international festivals in Kiev, Lviv. In addition to stage productions, VIE hosts concert programs, theater festivals and exhibitions. In the theater with the support of the company Rusal and the Union of Theater Workers of Ukraine, the International Summer Theater School was organized, designed to improve the professionalism of actors, directors, scriptwriters, producers.
