This gorgeous long, leafy tunnel is actually an ideal arch which lies in a three kilometre railway section and is a good example of what happens when nature is allowed to grow freely around manmade infrastructure. The Tunnel is beautiful at any time of the year. The Tunnel of Love is a favourite place for photographers, filmmakers who shoot commercials and fiction films here. This unusual rail route in Eastern Europe is also a popular spot for tourists from different countries who have passion for exceptional, picturesque places. In addition to that, the tunnel is used by lovers to make a wish – it is said that if they are sincere in their love, their wishes will definitely come true.
«Tunnel of Love» is the most romantic place in Rivne region. It is called a natural phenomenon. It is an ideal arch formed by the branches of trees growing on both sides of the railway. The tunnel stretches for almost 4 kilometers. Its origin is not a fairytale story: local people tell about military bases previously placed in the nearby villages; railway leading to them was masked with the trees. Today, it is a natural marvel that is an object for multiple legends. People say if a couple makes the wish while going through the tunnel it will come true soon. Advertising videos and movies are shooted here. From time to time, this object happens to be in the rating of the best places in the world. Yet, the story started with a lovely picture on the Internet. Meanwhile, the travelers can come here any season – Tunnel of Love is equally charming in spring, in summer, in winter or autumn
