In the past, it was part of the Jewish quarter, and its main treasure was a 17th-century well that supplied water to the surrounding residents and even became the cause of city disputes. Today the square is a cozy space with a small park, historic cobblestones, and a modern interpretation of the old well that reminds visitors of Lviv’s layered history.
