The museum highlights the history of Pereyaslav area by displaying archaeological materials from ancient times until the middle of the 13th century – the Tatar-Mongol invasion. The exhibits were found in the settlements of Kiev culture (III-V centuries), antes and glades (VI-IX centuries), old Russian and Pereyaslav area settlements, the ancient city of Pereyaslav (X-XIII cc.).
