The main exhibition occupies eight halls, including a section dedicated to Ukraine’s independence.
The open-air skansen recreates a typical 19th-century Volyn village with traditional farmsteads, a smithy, and a wooden chapel. Some buildings were relocated from local villages. The site hosts folk rituals and educational events on traditional Ukrainian crafts.
The museum is an important center for preserving the cultural heritage of the region. It attracts tourists, researchers, and schoolchildren from across Ukraine.
