It stretches from the Central Bridge to Kalychanska Square, connecting the historic center with modern public spaces.
Soborna is one of the oldest streets in Vinnytsia, with a history dating back to the 17th century. Over the years, it has changed its name several times, receiving its current name in 1996. The renowned Vinnytsia architect Hryhorii Artynov made a significant contribution to shaping the street's architectural appearance.
The street is home to the city's most important administrative institutions, including the Vinnytsia City Council and Regional Council, as well as numerous cultural, educational, and historical landmarks. Among them are the Transfiguration Cathedral, the Vinnytsia Mury (historic fortification complex), the Vinnytsia Regional Museum of Local History, the Vinnytsia Regional Art Museum, the historic Savoy Hotel, the Transport Models Museum, galleries, libraries, and many other attractions.
Part of Soborna Street has preserved its original cobblestone pavement, enhancing the historic atmosphere of the city center. Today, it is a popular destination for walking, public events, and exploring Vinnytsia's rich architectural heritage.
