In 1908, Wenchyslav Kornytskyi, the owner of the local lands, built an elegant palace in Rohachy, commissioning the project from renowned Kyiv architect Karol Ivanytskyi.
The building’s style—sophisticated Neoclassicism—was not the most popular at the time, yet it blended harmoniously with the architectural trends of historicism.
Kornytskyi spared no expense on the palace’s construction, investing a substantial sum of 69,000 rubles. As a result, the structure turned out to be luxurious, adorned with refined architectural details that emphasized the status of its owner. Today, this building remains one of the few well-preserved examples of Neoclassicism in the region.
