It offers visitors the opportunity not only to see authentic artifacts but also to fully immerse themselves in the traditions, music, and unique atmosphere of the Hutsul region.
Visitors are traditionally welcomed by the museum's owner, Mykola Iliuk, with the sound of the trembita, the iconic alpine horn of the Carpathians. During the guided tour, he shares fascinating stories about the origins of the Hutsuls, their everyday life, traditional crafts, customs, rituals, and festive celebrations. Special attention is given to traditional Hutsul musical instruments, including the trembita, drymba (jaw harp), hammered dulcimer, and many others.
The museum features an impressive collection of historical household items, traditional clothing, handcrafted objects, and musical instruments that illustrate the daily life of the Carpathian highlanders. Visitors can try on traditional Hutsul attire, take part in workshops on playing folk instruments, learn several Hutsul dances, and enjoy authentic folk songs and Christmas carols.
The museum courtyard offers stunning panoramic views of Verkhovyna and the surrounding mountains. After the tour, guests can also enjoy traditional Hutsul cuisine by arranging a homemade meal in advance. The "At the Trembita Player's" Museum is a place where the history, music, and warm hospitality of the Carpathians come to life.
