As the only museum of souvenir shoes in Ukraine, it houses more than 8,000 unique exhibits from 65 countries, ranging from elegant crystal slippers to miniature wooden clogs and traditional Venetian chopines.
The collection was created by Nelya Rybak, who transformed a chance hobby into a record-breaking collection recognized by the National Register of Records of Ukraine. Spread across six themed halls, visitors can discover miniature shoes made from wood, bronze, porcelain, Murano glass, rice straw, and even chocolate.
One of the museum’s most remarkable attractions is the famous “Boot Aquarium” from Venice — a unique handcrafted piece made of Murano glass that stands as the centerpiece of the collection. A separate exhibition dedicated to “kitchen shoes” surprises guests with shoe-shaped beer glasses, bottle openers, chocolate molds, and decorative accessories.
The Little Shoe Museum is a place where every exhibit tells a story, transforming an everyday item into a work of art and a cultural symbol that reflects traditions from around the globe.
