Bakota Bay Winery

Bakota Bay Winery is a family-owned craft winery located near the picturesque Bakota Bay in the heart of Podillia.

Founded in 2023 by winemakers Aurel Roșca and Ruslan Kovalevskyi, the winery creates signature wines that reflect the unique character of Bakota — its tranquility, warmth, and extraordinary natural beauty.

The vineyards are located in a region with a mild microclimate and exceptional terroir, where a combination of limestone, flint, clay, and shale soils provides ideal conditions for growing high-quality grapes. These natural features give the local wines their distinctive aromas, rich flavors, and unique character.

The winery offers engaging tours where visitors can discover the winemaking process — from the grapevine to the bottle. Professional tastings allow guests to sample different wines paired with local cheeses and traditional appetizers, revealing the harmonious flavors of Podillia.

Bakota Bay Winery is not only a place where wine is produced but also a destination for peaceful relaxation surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of Bakota Bay. The tranquil atmosphere, views of the Dniester Canyon, and warm hospitality of the hosts make every visit a memorable experience.

Today, Bakota Bay Winery is one of the new gastronomic and wine tourism gems of the Khmelnytskyi region, where modern Ukrainian winemaking meets tradition, nature, and a genuine love for the land.
