It features three artificial lakes formed as a result of sand mining that began back in 1966 and still continues today. Despite being a technical site where swimming is officially prohibited, the quarry has become a popular getaway for locals in the Lviv region.
On weekends, people come here to enjoy barbecues, sunbathe on the beach, or simply relax in nature. Surrounded by peaceful landscapes, the quarry offers a quiet escape from the city buzz.
The lakes are also well-known among anglers — with species like roach, pike, perch, zander, and bleak. The first lake (closest to the village) is rich in predatory fish, while the third is known for its large perch.
⚠️ Please note: swimming is officially prohibited due to the technical status of the water body and lack of proper infrastructure. Stay safe and enjoy responsibly!
