People from Scandinavia are crazy. They are lovely to be around, cheerful most of the time, and oddly silent as well. If you have a lot of time to spend in Scandinavia, consider taking a quick weekend cruise. If you find yourself near Sweden's east coast, consider taking a Baltic cruise with the laid-back Swedes and Finns; it promises to be an amazing experience. Late spring is the perfect season for cruising around Europe. You'll discover that these quiet northerners reveal more as soon as the drink is consumed.
Any Southern Caribbean island's shoreline is a great place to go diving or snorkeling. Discover how to scuba dive in one of the best dive locations in the world, Bonaire's National Marine Park. Kayak across the colorful coral reefs of Grenada with a glass bottom. In Aruba, you may take an underwater tour of a mysterious shipwreck or sail around a wooden schooner to watch the sunset. Wading into the warm Caribbean Sea and soaking in the stunning shoreline surrounding you is always a wonderful idea, no matter where you are in the world.
Norwegian cruises are often chilly excursions that emphasize the natural world. The fjords and magnificent mountains surpass the Grand Canyon in size. You won't spend as much time on the deck as you might on a more southern trip when the sun calls because of the freezing temperatures around Norway's western shore. Tropic scenery and verdant mountains abound on these magnificent islands. Stroll through a jungle and sample the local produce while you're there. Explore Harrison's Cave in Barbados to see the amazing stalactite and stalagmite formations. Visit the thick mangrove woods of Bonaire to get a look at the rose-colored flamingos. The twin Pitons of St. Lucia, which you can walk to the peak of or view from a distance while relaxing beachfront, are arguably the most famous sight in the area.
The southern Caribbean islands provide delectable tastes and freshly caught fish. Take a catamaran ride in Antigua and enjoy a feast of fresh lobster. See the renowned Antiguan chef's private residence and garden, where he will show you how to prepare Caribbean food at home. To find out why Grenada is referred to as "Spice Island," take a chocolate-making session at a cocoa estate in Castries or visit the local markets in St. George.
